Traditional crafts of Northern Nagano are gradually disappearing amidst the tides of time. The Sowers is an installation work in which traditional craft objects and the tools are charcoalized and craftsmen’s voices resonate. Just as ash enriches the soil, this work invites us to reflect on how these traditional crafts might become nourishment for the future.
